1859 National Hotel is an historic hotel B&B in the heart of the gold rush area, near Yosemite. Nine rooms have been restored to the casual elegance of a simpler/romantic era. Gourmet restaurant & full-service saloon.Description of Jamestown Area:Jamestown is an historic gold rush town (1849) in the center of California Gold Country. Many of the buildings on Main Street are original, and others are replicas. Jamestown is the home of the famous "movie railroad", of which over 300 movies have been made.
