Length of Stay: 10 days

This is an absolutely fabulous place to stay! Located in the north of Amsterdam on a quiet street, the R&T is just a few minutes from the bus into Amsterdam. It is also about a minute's drive to the A10, from which one can to travel to anywhere desired.

The quietness of the neighborhood was delightful, and we especially enjoyed feeding the local ducks and swans along the brook in front of the homes.

Ruud and Therese were up every night to hear about our daily adventures, and it was their personal attention that made our stay so special.

On a scale of 1-10, we give this a 10+!! We look forward to staying at the R&T again and recommend it without reservation. Keep up the good work, Ruud and Therese!!

Length of Stay: 4 nights

The Guesthouse provided us with an excellent stay. The location is just outside the downtown area in Amsterdam, with excellent bus connections. The hosts, Ruud and Therese, were wonderful, helpful folks who went out of their way to make our trip to the Netherlands in general, and to Amsterdam in particular, very memorable. They were extremely accomodating, friendly, and generous with their time and travel expertise. We enjoyed meeting and visiting with this super couple.

The guesthouse itself is spotless, and everything in the rooms sparkles. Breakfasts were great. We really felt as though we were at a home away from home. We would recommend this accomodation highly to anyone except a person who has trouble climbing stairs (the rooms are up one flight.) We hope to return.
