Welcome to Log Country Inn Bed and Breakfast of Ithaca!Welcome to our Log Country Inn: The Bed & Breakfast of Ithaca. We know you will enjoy your stay in our rustic lodge, constructed of fine Vermont logs in a design inspired by American pioneer cabins of the 18th and 19th centuries. In every season, you can relax in this picturesque country setting surrounded by 20 wooded acres at the edge of a vast New York State Forest.The hardy frontier settlers who built the log homes that inspired our Log Country Inn might find it difficult to believe the gracious, even elegant, environment into which their crude constructions have evolved. A cathedral ceiling soars over the living room. Most of the bedrooms and bathrooms offer plenty of elbowroom. And throughout, the rustic charm of this home is accented by exposed log ceiling beams. The decor is dotted with an Eastern European influence, as is the morning meal. A full breakfast is included in the lodging fee. Enjoy Wanda's famous blintzes or Russian pancakes served with juices, choice fruits, local bees honey, specially selected jams, and home-baked breads or pastries. Many of the rooms are furnished with custom-made country-style furniture. Others have an international flair - including a Russian Room, African Room, Persian Room and a Japanese-style Internet Jacuzzi Suite. Most of our rooms have their own private bathrooms. Enjoy a fireplace and piano in the living room of the guesthouse or have a cup of coffee at the dining table. A fully equipped kitchen is available for use. Relax in a double Jacuzzi in your private suite, or surf the web in the Internet Suite. A sauna and afternoon tea are available during fall and winter seasons.
